When I first heard that Joe Satriani was gonna be in a band I said to myself, "JOe in a band" and was kinda of baffled. I've always known Joe to be a solo artist and doing his own thang but I couldn't picture him being in a band with a singer. I was surprise at first but now it makes a lot of sense and I even kinda got used to Joe being in a band besides his own already..

I'm a big fan of Van Hagar (with Micheal Anthony of course), Peppers and Joe "Satchmo" Satriani.
It's been a very long time since a good hard rock band came forward and delivered the goods and thank God it was Chickenfoot that did just that....

I saw them in Corpus and I invited a friend of mine who is really not into hard rock.
He's much into grind core and death metal type of tunes. He hesitated for a bit before giving me the dumbs up.
Well by the end of the evening he said, "dude those guys kicked ass, I'm gonna buy their cd" in which he did the following day....

I can't wait for the next album and tour. Please come back to Corpus we love ya and don't forget Sammy you said that night that you always love that town because we have a beach. :)
