The Foot to Stomp on Conan/Tonight Show Footday June 5!

Jun 2 2009

Just in case you missed the announcement in our email newsletter, here's your second reminder to set the dial on that archaic device known as the "TV" this Footday June 5th to the new Conan O'Brien led Tonight Show. The boys will be there to put their footprint on the show in its first week, unleashing a live version of "Oh Yeah".

And in case you really have been out of touch, this Friday (now to be known as Footday), the album drops. Catch it at fine record stores everywhere to get that swanky heat-sensitive cover action, or get your immediate fix starting the 5th online at all usual digital portals. For ONLY Jun 5th - 8th, Amazon is offering a sweet $3.99 discount for the digital download.

Looking forward to the Tulsa date at the historic 'Old Lady on Brady', The Brady Theatre. This unique venue was built in 1914 and is respectfully haunted by the ghost of famous turn of the century Italian tenor, Enrico Caruso. No doubt his essence will enhance the vibe of the Chickenfoot show. Just a shout out to Joe to say WELCOME BACK TO TULSA! ...and remember, "The chicken is for the vegetarians".

No offence to anyone , but noone ever sounds good on those shows, and this was no exception ! I thought it sounded horrible ! NOTHING like the Fillmore in S.F. Calif. of which they sounded AWSOME !
and I must agree Oh Yeah was not a great song choice for T.V.

It looks like the audio was remixed...Much Better!

Just seen the performance on Conan O'Brien tonight in CNBC over here in the UK. Absolutely superb!!!! My 13 year old daughter and i have tickets to the Sheppard's Bush gig in London this month and we cannot wait. Well done guys, got any backstage passes going spare???

after reading many comments on the youtube video, theres one conclusion i must agree with "oh yeah" is not a good representation of this Amazing Band & Album. I have to agree the lyrics dont have the great substance as most all other songs. It seems so many are lamely judging the album off this song...which is expected. Not that it matters...theyll eventually hear them and change their opinions or be the minority. The majority loved the performance and understand live performances! some say this is new from Joe but as a non-stop loyal fan of Joe, his parts are no surprise...its how the band responded to his stuff is whats making this an amazing band. also as a mediocre Sammy Fan...His lyrics and heart in his performance in NY has captured me as a much bigger fan of his work...WTG Sammy!!! As a only 1 year serious drummer, Chad has had a big influence on my playing and have been studying him closely....his playing is really out of the box and is interesting...to say the least. Finally though the miking on the backing vocals had issue,Mike performance impressed me..i really never heard anyone sing that high...then he did it higher..lol...but most of all his bass playing is freeking awesome and independent of the guitar parts....thats says alot!!!...So what do we have here! An Inspiring Chapter of Rock Music happening right before our eyes!

Saw you guys in Chicago at the Park West and BOY did you rock the place. Loved it! Also, saw your performance on the Tonight show. (What the heck did Chad do to his hair? Was that a wig or did he die it? LOL!) Been a huge fan of Joe's since his first album... own everything he's ever released. Can't get enough of him. It was great to see him on TV at last. He's one of the greatest guitarist there ever was. Keep it coming boys!!! See you at the Chicago theatre in August!

Hey there ChickenFoot, I RAN out to Best Buy this morning to get your new CD, popped it into my 850hp Camaro and headed for the highway here in NJ to see just how fast it could make me drive, with the T-Tops off and 2000 watts pumping it sounded GREAT @ well I won't print my speed but can you say TRIPLE the speed limit ! You guys fuggen ROCK and I'm so glad to have a great band I can relate to at my age (44) since I've listened to all you guys my whole life. Keep on rockin and I'll catch you at the Beacon in NY City in August !!! ~JerZ ICE~

The Album- $9.99 Best Buy
The Fan Club Shirt - $40.00 Fanfire
The Tonight Show Appearance- Free
The FEELING OF F'N EXCITEMENT ABOUT THIS KICK ASS NEW BAND-PRICELESS

I thought you guys did great on Conan O'Brien's "The Tonight Show", can't wait till you make it to Florida....party time. (I laughed like hell when I saw Chad with that wig and the T-shirt, it was right on time)

Every time I've seen him he's had a hat on.
On the tonight show he had quite a head of very red hair.
Anyone?

Chad was wearing a wig. It was a spoof from earlier in reference to (Jay Leno's last night) where he showed the children that were born to his staff during his Tonight Show tenure! Conan spoofed it, but he's the baby daddy and all the kids were wearing red wigs styled just like his. Chad's as funny as Will Ferrell!

that was a wig from a spoof on Conan ealier in the show...yeah Chads definately hiding something..if its only baldness...thats no big deal..hats are cool..if its a giant wart...then theres a problem...lol

Just in case you missed it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TT19cB0NTM

So my 2 little ChicKenheads and I opened the Best Buy this morning and got the first 2 copies out of the box. No mad rush, in fact we were the only ones there for it.

Amazing album.

I'm going to make a template of the ChicKenhead thing that you can print and staple to make your very own ChicKenhead! Those crude prototypes will pave the way for a very smooth finished product, anyone else feels motivated to make something go for it! Imagine how the band would feel if they walk out on stage one night and the audience is full of ChicKenheads? That would be classic!

Notice the shirt I'm wearing is 19 (that's right, I said 19!) years old! On the back it says "Dreaming In A Blue World Tour 1990" when my Wife (then girlfriend) & I saw Joe here in Ottawa at the Congress Center for the first time.

smooches,

thats the Cluckin spirit!...lol...thanks for sharing..i had that shirt from the first time seeing Joe...dont know what happened to it..cool

I caNt WaiT!!!!! I hOpe tHey get An interView!...at LeaSt a lenGthy intRo/oUtro!

Is the cheap download only open to fans in America, or will us foreigners benefit from it too? Fingers crossed! ;)

Who's gonna play keys?

When it comes to his playing, I'm particularly impressed with Joe's band first before virtuosity mindset.

I'm sure a lot of guitar geek-toids are having a little trouble wrapping their heads around that.

Great album.

Bluesy, super sonic, and motivating
.

$3.99???? That is insane. Great and thank you. Chickenfoot doing its part for the recession. Great show in Boston, I loved it.
