I have to start off by saying High school I was a Van Halen fan saw Sammy in Texas jam have been a big fan. Was very happy to have seen them together . Missed the power I know Sammy has to give , Joe..... I had a friend who took me to the Record store ( you do remember those places right? ) I found Surfing with the Alien and feel in love with the way he can play the guitar. Now that I have lived a life with more downs than up's , hope with your sound that can keep me feeling like I can anything and not feel like lets us burn them all down witch some time I do feel like that. So far I have hear and watched foot widgets and love what I hear. I can only hope to fine a job before they tour the states so I can see them. Sammy ,Chad , Michael and Joe if you read this It is great to hear you all as a band and play for the love of music and the fans. You are keeping it real and they will walk with THE FOOT to a show. A fan from Arizona now in Kansas Keep the foot rocking.

The Philly show was a rock show party!
The guys were up there playing like this was their 5th album not their first.
Hat's off to all the Philly fan's that came out in force, waited in the rain and gave back all of the incredible energy the band sent out to the crowd.
The band/fan interaction really personalized the show and made it memorable and special.
Sammy's voice is just as good as when he was twenty.
Mike's a bass players' bass player and his harmonies with Sammy are astounding.
Joe is well, G-GOD....Eddy who?
Chad is a not just a drummer he's a complete showman from start to finish and the acknowledged inventer of the sexiest drumstick holder in the business! I hope a video surfaces of this soon.

Sammy had a lot to say about their desire to play the small clubs to directly connect with the fans and to work their way up to the amphitheaters and arena's.
From what I saw last night, they will be filling arena's by their 3rd album.
What I like most about this band is evident on the stage. They are all EQUALs in talent, showmanship, and desire to be doing what they are doing. This really shows in the performance as there is no isolated focus on the front man and no upstaging egos between band members. All of these guys were individually successful before this band but they perform as a brand new group. The music is fresh, exciting and the show is plain and simple hard rock and roll just like mom used to bake. After hearing the entire album front to back I hope that these guys NEVER play a van halen song onstage. They don't need that. They are onto something much bigger then VH here and once they have 2 or 3 albums to play they can put on a full length cover free show with some of the best rock and roll to come down the pipeline in 20 years.

I've seen the future of rock and roll and it is Chickenfoot.

ChickenFoot rocks! You guys need to come to Dallas. Mike you are the greatest basses ever. You inspire me when I play my bass. Sammy you are one heck of a singer my friend. Chad, Chad, Chad, keep on pounding them drums man. Drummer that rocks, rocks for life. Last but not lease, joe. You can shred awesome. Hears to ya joe "the shreder" Satriani! chickenfoot for ever

I got to agree with drmrsdad. This show kicked ass. It did suck to have to stand for over 3 hours but I'd do it again for a show like this.

Just caught Chickenfoot last night in NYC and I must say I've seen quite a few great shows over the past year, such as Todd Rundgren, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Jeff Beck, King's X, Extreme, Alejandro Escovedo, Zappa Plays Zappa, and this show by far was the most Bombastic Rock N Roll show I've seen in years. Michael Anthony was incredible, his high harmony vocals with Sammy were off the charts, and his locked in groove with Chad was great to see and hear, yes I actually was able to hear a distinct Bass line, not your typical guitar following bass drone that is so prevelant in "Rock Music" these days. Satch was incredible and it was great to see him as a player in a band instead of being a frontman/instrumentalist, his solos were good, but what I enjoyed most was his rhythm playing which is lost in his solo performances. Chad was freaking off the charts and as you can tell from my name, Drums are my love. Chad's playing was much more fluid and tight with this band, than his driving stuff he does with the RHCP. At times he and Satch would lock in together and Chad would mimic his drum patterns to Satch's Rhythm strums. At the end of one of the songs, I could hear the band fading out to Robin ZTrowers Bridge of Sighs. Sammy, well at 61 you can't tell me there is a better vocalist out there at this time, His banshee screams were chilling and his banter was cool, instead of the abrasive attitude found with many new and younger bands these days. Sammy spoke how he was told they needed to play bigger venues and Sammy's attiude was, This is were we all started, we're gonna hang down here and live with these people, and then we will move up and bring in more people and then we will move up a little more, and then we will play arena's. So If that's the plan, I think this band might be around for a awhile.
If you get a chance to see them, take it.
Peace

I'm arriving 2-3 hours early. Hope that is enough time to get the first spot in line. I NEEd to be up against the stage. This is a ONCE in a lifetime opportunity.

Talk about an animal... this dude pulverizes his kit! The highest grade tour approved hardware was barely enough to withstand the punishment. His highly polished abilities coupled with hilarious antics and gestures are really something you have to see live. The sticks and shards of wood sailing from around his rig are happy to have been thrown away rather than have to face the abuse from The Doctor. I believe the snare drum skin is actually a space age secret fiber of which Chad has been asked to attempt to "test it's limits'! I could go on, but you probably get my point,.....now for Joe....oh never mind, see the show!! dave

Hang in there Axe ! haha... YOU are going to have such a GREAT time, from the music to the people to the entertainment from these four guys your gonna have it all bro !

(just remember to breath every so often) :D

First, read janred5150's review below. It's "Spot On" and better than I could have written it.

Just wanted to add a few details from a VIP point of view. Let me say, I've never spent $250 for a concert before, and was a little hesitant at first, but after last night's show, I can tell you it was worth every freakin' penny!

My buddy and I arrived about an hour before the 5:45 advertised early entry time. There were 2 lines forming outside. The GA line and the VIP line. There were about 20 people in the VIP line already, so suggest if you want that "first row, in your face" spot, get there early. We were carded in line for an alcohol wristband while we waited. Then at 5:45 we were let into the first set of doors where your name was checked against the VIP list. You were then handed a bag containing the shirts and Magic 8 Balls and given a special VIP wristband. Don't lose that! You'll need it later to get your signed poster. We then went back outside and formed a third line, while the rest of the VIP folks were checked in. Another half hour or so wait outside and then we finally got in and hit the stage. After the show, we were directed to yet another line to receive the poster.

It sounds a little convoluted, but it actually all went really smooth. There was enough time after we received the bag to put on the shirts and one of us run the bag with the 8 balls back to the car so we didn't have to drag those around all night. And since we didn't get the poster till after the show, it didn't get damaged. It's card stock, about 16" x 24", hand numbered and signed in gold sharpie by all 4 guys.

Like I said, janred5150's review below of the show was spot on. Just want to add a special shout out to Satch's guitar tech Mike. He had his act down so tight his name should be up there with the rest of the boys. In fact, kudos to all the "behind the scenes" guys. Couldn't have done it without you, and all that hard work is recognized and appreciated.

To the boys in the band, if that was just a "barely rehearsed, warm up" tour. God help us all if you make it any better. FREAKIN' AWESOME guys, and get back here soon!!!!

Reply to 'the foot comes down in Chicago'
Look closely at your poster, Joe's (Jose), is signed in silver (silver surfer), the others are in gold.
At least that is how it is on mine.
Very Cool!
My ears are still ringing from the Filmore show.
OH YEAH!

KUDOS TO YOU ... so glad you had a footin good time ! and thats how the rock is suppost to roll ... I am thinkin from here on out it should be as smooth as that for all ....

peace from the bayarea S.F.

:)

I've seen the Future of Rock and it's chickenfoot (LOL) no let me correct myself I've heard the future of RNR and it's Chickenfoot. I think my ears still aren't right lol.

Granted we all by now have heard most of the songs and know what to expect songwise but to see the boys live they live up to their billing everyone pulling their weight and then some. Mikey is and will always be a 12th man off the bench meaning he's a great asset to any team or in this case band and if everything is going to hell you don't need to worry about Mikey :). Joe is the one that made my earings ring all night in a GOOD WAY!!! What else can be said he knows how to play his instrument and all the sounds he made during every song were different and just rocked. Chad is the one that if you took him out of the band and put another drummer in there it wouldnt be Chickentfoot the boy pounds those skins with a mighty force and plays off Sammy's chatter quite well although for anyone that was at the show last night God help us all if the redwings beat the hawks and win the stanley cup when the boys return later in the year. Last but not least Sammy 61 years young and was screaming like a toddler lol his voice strong and clear and just always has the passion in his voice no matter what he is singing. All 4 of them indeed playing like a band that had been together forever. It was a good LOUD Rocking night for someone like me who grew up in the 80's that is my kind of music.

Songwise I think we all have our faves more then others Bitten by the wolf sounded better last night then the youtube stuff I saw from others shows maybe Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy had stopped by karmaically and helped the boys out putting some Chicago Blues into the song. Get it up, Turnin Left, and for me Sexy little thing I need to hear the rest of the words to get a full feel for. When Sammy had introduced My kind of Girl it was touching in how he was inspired by having one of Samantha's playmates come over and she had a single mom then from some of the lyrics in the song where let's just say different meaning I think I was expecting him to sing more about the relationship about the mom and child then mom's life but until I hear the rest of the song that's my take but none the less a great ode to All single moms. Learning to Fall another fave and one of Sammy's magical performance when lyrics, music, passion in his voice and feeling when people hear it a song never leaves one's soul. Future in the Past this IS MY FAVE knowing about 98% of those words it's one of the songs that is one of Sammy's gifts of being a musican his constant positive inspiration and always gives someone a good feeling after hearing it. Also when a heard the 30 sec clip I can hear the Zep middle eastern influence and how the song starts off musically in one direction and ends up somewhere else.

Venue wise the 1st time I've been to the Park West not a bad seat in the house I sat in the balcony and saw everything perfectly. Davey Knowles the opening act was great just him an acustic guitar I've always been one to listen to opening acts thats always I tough gig no matter who you open for and who knows if he breaks big here we can see we saw him first.

Sammy signed things and took things from the crowd like he would in the past and left the stage wearing a chicken hat where it covered his whole head of hair and face and wearing big what I guess was supposed to be chickenfoot yellow slippers with the logo on the bottom.

Swag I got a girls shirt for 25.00 which was a different one from the one I saw on ebay which may not be an official one but i like the one I got last night and the poster that was sold out from the website was out of for 10.00.

All in All I was glad to be a part of last nights intimate evening and now like everyone else just waiting for the CD to come out. 4 Shows left if you have the chance GO!!! you want be disappointed.

THAT BLEW MY MIND!! CAN"T WAIT FOR THE SHOW TONIGHT!!

Anyone know if their CD is for sale at these shows?

....I just found out DaVEY Knowles & Back Door Slam is opening which makes the potential for an incredibly memorable evening all the more probable. THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT!

We are ready for the foot!!! Bring IT....Oh Yea...!!!Chi town kickass, ROCK N ROLL FOOT"N PEOPLE!!! I NEED LOVE, FIRST THING IN CHICAGO!!!!!!!!! DON'T FORGET YOUR ROCK'N SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! WHAT A NIGHT!! This is definitely history in the making and I feel so lucky to have witnessed what I did on Tuesday night! First of all, luck was with me that I WON The tickets from Michael Anthony at www.madanthonycafe.com I got there early and was lucky enough to get a spot right up front by Mikey. I knew it was going to be good, but this was EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!! I had only heard three songs from the album and those were great; hearing ALL of the new songs was outrageous! These guys are having too much fun and I can't believe Sammy has re-invented himself YET AGAIN! I can't wait to get my hands on this album and I hope I am lucky enough to get in for the CD Signing!! Long Live the FOOT!!!!!!!!! Hope to see you guys again in California soon!! THANKS AGAIN FOR AN AWESOME SHOW!!

Looking forward to a great new experience. Driving in from Janesville WI. First time at the Park West too.

One of life's pleasures... Rock & Roll!!

Eat Cheese or Die!

I saw them in Vancouver and was blown away!!!! Sammy sounded amazing , Joe was unreal , The only thing that was disapointing was not spending the extra money for the premium package and the autographed poster!!!! Might hop a plane to LA for the signing!

This is making me jones hard for the release of the album and I hope that they will stop in Omaha NE once they announce the full blown out North American tour. The music rocks completely and looks like all four of them are having a ton o fun!!!!!!!!!!! Please come to Omaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

That video just get me ready for the live show !

Can't even begin to explain how AMAZING the show was last night at The Roxy!! Chickenfoot tore it up, ROCKED the Roxy, and LA might never be the same again! Sammy sounded better than ever, Joe was a MONSTER on the guitar, Chad was as powerful a drummer as you will ever see and Mikey was the glue that made this show one of the BEST shows that I have ever seen!! Can't wait for the CD and Chickenfoot's return to California...Oh HELL Yeah!

Look out Planet Earth, THE FOOT HAS LANDED...HARD!

Tremendous show! I can tell you that the crowd truly loved the energy you produced. The free tequila was a nice touch also. Rock on my brothers.

This show was off the hook!! They didn't stop and rocked for more than 1 1/2 hrs!!! Sammy's voice is great and everyone sounded awesome live!! Cannot wait to see them next time around!!!!!!! LOVE THIS BAND!!!

man I haven't been to the Roxy for a few years, but I remember the bar in the back and the merch. booth to the left of the bar, and not alot of room for ppl ... hahahaa.. must have been a real personal show! HOW AWSOME IS THAT !!!!

kudos once more to the Foot !!

The foot came on around 9:45p and did not let up. Packed house, great show, great songs, waiting for the return! PS: Joe, I had the "Hi" iPhone app - let's put the Chickenfoot logo on it!!!

I so wish I could get tix to the Toronto show, but I'm not giving on-line scalpers a penny!

I see they're doing an outdoor Show in Halifax, Nova Scotia in early August...figures that it's 2 days after I'm getting home from vacation in the east coast!

The Montage video along with some of the clips and reviews from the venues so far are CRAZY. This band looks like it rips up the stage with so much energy and just seems like they all love to play.

Rock on...I hope your "full" NA tour will stop by Ottawa on the way through Ottawa.

It was a PACKED house !!!! it was a kickass show !!! They played every song from the album plus a few extras ! We all know Joe is a crazy guitarist and Sammy is an even crazier entertainer and Mike hasn't lost a beat with some incredible fret work , BUT ! to my suprise .... (keeping in mind I didn't really know much about Chad) THAT DUDE PHREAKIN ROCKS THAT DRUM SET !!!!! so much fun just watching him have fun with what he does! and what he does is fast and furious stick pounding drumming with insane rhythms and smiling the whole time ! infact they were ALL smiling the whole time ~ I have some pics if anyone wants to see at

www.myspace.com/kentzell

kudos to the foot ! and thanks for a great great time ! (as always)

i believe what i witnessed at the fillmore might just be the GREATEST rock and roll band in the world.joe was joe what more can you say.sammy sounds like a kid again.mike was fucking rock solid and i would compare chad to john bonham or kieth moon. to everybody about to see the foot GETCHA BUZZ ON

Absolutely unbelievable show Sunday at the Fillmore! Those who have not seen it get ready to ROCK UR A$$ OFF! This is truly history in the making! I have seen Joe a few times and have never seen him smile so much. Hell the whole group was smiling from ear to ear cuttin up and ROCK N THEIR A$$ OFF. Sammy and Michael's vocals were breathtaking and on point! Joe and Chad got into the vocal action too! Sammy stated "Chili Peppers wouldn't give Chad a MIC. Not in the FOOT!" Chad beat the "F" out of that set of drums and between him and Michael holdin down the beat you can set still! Watch out for the flying drums sticks from Chad. Also watch out for the Half Baked Fake on the sticks as well. LMFAO! That was some funny $hit Chad!

Still can't believe it Sammy, Michael, Joe, Chad, Thanks for the adrenalin rush!

Get ready cuz the FOOT HAS COME DOWN and will ROCK THE WORLD!

Man, did the 'Foot come down HARD in San Francisco!! It was the perfect venue for this show!! I cannot wait to get the album. Each and every song rocked and I loved it! The four of them have great chemistry and I am thinkin' this band is going to be HUGE!! Everyone attending these Road Test shows are lucky for sure!!

for the Chicago show... Been lookin' forward to May 22nd since the announcement of the tour.

I was at the Fillmore last night. It was the exact opposite of the Seattle show. So, for those of you who have tickets, I say, get excited!!!!!!

The guys were all on the top of their form. The stage was positioned just right so, there was nothing I could not see and you could see the stage from everywhere inside the concert hall. There was enough room for everyone as far as I could see, and the croud was electrified!

The music was beyond great. I can't see how anyone could possibly be dissapointed in the Chickenfoot album. I can't wait to get my CD so I can hear those songs again!

Sammy, Joe, Mike, and Chad all stood out in there own awesome ways, creating such a cool level of senergy!

During the show I was thinking that the last time I got to be so close to a stage was when I saw Deep Purple at the California Jam in the 70's. Then they played Highway Star last night during the encore.
Oh Yeah!

Sammy, Joe, Mike, and Chad,
Thanks for such a GREAT night. Can't wait to see another show!

Sammy, Joe, Mike, and Chad all stood out in there own awesome ways, creating such a cool level of senergy! Online High School

This show was a disaster. Not that the band didn't kick ass - they most certainly did. Everyone is right though - the venue was horrible. If there had been a fire or an earthquake, it would've been another Great White type incident with bodies piled up at the SINGLE exite from the bar. it was shoulder to shoulder people from the ebntrance to the other end of the building.

Not only that, but only one of the 5 fans were working so it was miserably hot in there as well. I could only get a few glimpses of Joe but had a clear shot of Chad and Sammy. IT was really just a shitty piss poor venue that was way oversold. I hope the Seattle fire marshall fines the assholes that oversold this venue. It could have been a tragedy had a fire broke out or even a mild earthquake. We in Seattle really do desrve another show at a decent venue of some kind of compensation. I Will NEVER go to an El Corazon show again.

It could have been a great show had they only sold three or four hundred tickets. The concert area was about the same floor space as a large 3 bedroom apartment and they had 840 people packed in there. I'm not exaggerating. It really is that small. It was ridiculous. Thank God I got baked before the show or I would've been even more pissed.

First off THE BAND ROCKED, but you did not come close to describing how bad the El Corazon was. I guess I was one of the lucky ones who could see the show and they were awsome. There is nothing on the planet that would ever get me into that craphole again though. I was on crutches and did get taken to a spot by security where I had a chance of not being knocked down and had a great view (I have to give them credit for that) BUT, I was actually told by security once I got there that if I had to pee, either hold it, or go where I was standing. A guy by me said he had been there before and didn't like pissing on the floor so he would put a plastic cup in his pants, piss in it, and then dump it in the garbage can. My buddy got thrown out for going after a guy who tossed a cup of piss on him. NEVER EVER GO IN THAT CRAPHOLE.

CHICKENFOOT ROCKS, EL CORAZON SUCKS,GIVE THE SEATTLE TICKET HOLDERS ANOTHER SHOW PLEASE IN A SANITARY VENUE

just wanted to let folks know that we're aware of the problem in seattle and apologize for any inconvience fans experienced - the band will not be returning to that venue.

Few times people say sorry. Just another reason this is a class act. Leaving from Houston tomorrow to head to Boston can not freaken wait.
