My first of four CHICKENFOOT shows and this is from The Park West in Chicago. This was one of their road test shows. I had purchased the premium tickets with early admission. I drove up from Ohio and was first in line for the show. FRONT ROW center. I didn't think it could get any better until Sammy showed me some love with a point and a couple of high fives and I also was lucky enough to catch two of Chad's drum sticks and get a Sammy pick at the end of the show. I met a teenager and his father that stood behind me. I was talking with the teenager before the show and he told me he was a drummer and a huge Chad Smith fan and Sammy Hagar fan. After I caught the first drum stick I just turned around and handed it to him. He was shocked and thrilled to say the least. He must have thanked me a hundred times. Well karma is a good thing, a couple of songs later I caught another one and it's displayed in my Sammy Shrine. One incredible show and one incredible night.

These guys are AWESOME and they really seem to enjoy making music together. All I can say is I can't wait until Chad and Satch get back from their other ventures to make some more of the best ROCK music that's come out in years!
